Sólo puedo decir que le doy muchas gracias a Laura por dejarme entrometerme en sus cosas y en su música, a Rubén por lo mucho que aprendí durante la grabación del disco, a Ejival y Nohemí por confiar en mí y por su hospitalidad, a Karina por inspirarme a regresar a la fotografía, a Julio por estar ahí y a mi familia por aguantarme mis caprichos de abandonar trabajos por seguir esto.

Y sobre todo a Vic, que estuvo conmigo en la parte más complicada y difícil: la espera.

Carrie returns with her second album, 1981, on May 13th. This time around, Carrie's sound is expanded beyond the folkie twee indie-tronica of her first release, Honey Blue Star. Balancing lush and lo-fi sound aesthetics, Carrie's folksy mannerisms go in between The Postal Service and The Radio Dept. universes, landing in an unique and minimal melodic pop. New member Pelvis joins Carrie and contributes sounds and backing vocals to the album. 1981 was produced by Rubén Tamayo (Fax).
